Global Warming
Do you think global warming is going to have no effect on our planet? Well think again we will be in trouble unless we do something about it. First off lets talk about how global warming works. What happens is when the suns rays hit the earth a lot reflect off the earth but a few repel back into our atmosphere but now because of all the CO2 and green house gases more and more of the suns rays are being trapped in earths atmosphere so it keeps getting hotter and hotter. Some of the things that are causing all the pollution are cars and the U.S. and China’s coal factories. 30% of all the worlds pollution comes from the United States. That’s more then China and Russia combined!!! Also a lot of our animals are going extinct because of this. The most published effect of global warming is the ice caps melting. This is very bad because if all the ice caps melt then the sun does not reflect of the earth at all and will warm the ocean and kill lots of marine life. China is being over taken by there deserts increasing in size every year and is overtaking many habitable areas. What I think we should do is invest more money in going green. The reason that people think that technology won’t help us is because the government hasn’t invested in it that much. We’ve invested a little and created some decent technology but with more funding I think we could come up with some truly extraordinary technology to help us go green. When you really think about it theres two things that could happen and it comes down to what would be worse. Economy troubles for some years or earth possibly being wiped of all human life. Personally I would rather choose some economy troubles. Could you bare the consequence if we were wrong?
